After their album release in 2002, the band was constantly on tour. Over the years, Ryan Dusick, who was percussionist and back-up vocalist for the band, had been suffering. On some part of the tours, he was unable to play the drums because his arms were injured. He returned though, on another tour but was again forced to take a break. His condition was such that it had deteriorated to an extent that his two arms became pretty much useless limbs. While he underwent tests to determine the pain’s source, Josh Day replaced him. After 9 months, Matt Flynn assumed the position before finally becoming an official part of the group when Dusick also officially left the group in September 2006.
