But in 2001 the group adopted their new name “Maroon 5″, because Adam Levine was exposed to different genres of music in the east coast. The group is know their all time hits “This Love”, “Harder to Breathe” and “Makes me Wonder.” almost all of their album topped the charts in five different countries. They have won many awards such as Grammy, MTV Video Music and BillBoard Music Awards. And now they are heading to the concert stage with all of their all time favorite song. The title is a nod to Ray Charles’s classic 1962 album, “Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music.” The achievement of “Modern Minds and Pastimes” is all the more remarkable considering that the tough act it had to follow. “Modern Minds and Pastimes” was created with producer Mike Denneen and mixed by Mike Shipley. Both of them have an intimate passion in music and their favorite band is Beatles. After their show performance at 10:30, they love to play at pizza parlors, coffee bars and night clubs with just one guitar and two voices with these they quickly gained a reputation for great harmonies and for the original composition of Graham.

They decided to make a demo cassette of their two songs, “Love and Other Bruises” and “If You Knew Me” and submit it to every record company in Sydney. Most of the companies refuse them but CBS Record admired their unique style. Thus, Air Supply was born.
